Ning Free Sites Going Offline

Hello all and thank you for your support. As you may know, the free section of Ning is going offline. Open Source Earth is a network of a number of sites, and exists to disseminate information about Green, Accessible and Open Source Design, Agriculture and manufacturing.Although the community is infinitely valuable, as no money is generated, it's difficult to continue with a paid subscription when other free options are available, and when the income from my part time English teaching jobs…See More

Transitioning

How can we transition from a Fiat-Based to Resource-Based lifestyle? Should we? How can resource-based elements be implemented today to augment or act as a buffer for the money-based economic system?Some are saying that it is ridiculous for human beings to be concerned with survival in the world today.
